Dr. Michalis Agathocleous is currently the Director of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Goldman Solutions and Services (GSS) Ltd providing Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning related enterprise solutions and consulting for SMEs and Large Enterprises to optimize their Strategic Planning.
He is an active senior research associate at the Computational Intelligence & Neuroscience Lab of the University of Cyprus and the AILab of the University of Nicosia. As an expert in Machine Learning and Data Science, he is also serving both institutions as a Visiting Lecturer. He is a Co-founder and Managing Director at Ergonact LTD providing solutions, consulting and training in AI for SMEs. He is leading teams and working in both enterprise and research projects related to Business, Banking (Bank of Cyprus, Hellenic Bank), Cybersecurity (Digital Security Authority), eHealth, Bioinformatics, IoT, Education, Real Estate and Energy funded by local and European bodies (CEF, RIF, HORIZON EUROPE, ERASMUS+, DIGITAL EUROPE).
Michalis has deep expertise in developing and leading teams, designing software and data systems in various industries. His research work has been published in top international journals and conferences and he has received multiple awards from several bodies. He is an active member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Cyprus Chapter and the European Neural Networks Society (ENNS).
