This is a unique and ambitious program offered jointly by SGH and EY Academy of Business. This program is aimed at professionals who do not necessarily work in finance, but for whom finance is essential to their career.
The skills developed will not be limited to traditional techniques and tools, but will also include more modern and sophisticated skills in areas such as lean accounting, risk management, performance management, business process management etc. These will help candidates develop their personal development in business and provide them with a major role in strategic financial decision-making processes in the organization.

Candidates will receive expert, internationally recognized education and training from some of the best academics and practitioners in finance with local and international experience, knowledge and skills.
All topics will be covered from zero to advanced level at a fast pace.

Course methodology
The courses are intensive , divided into modules and will include a combination of lectures, workshops, case studies, self-study and group work. Analyzing real-world examples will allow students to practically apply the concepts taught.
To pass exams (80% of the overall grade) and complete case studies in groups (20% of the overall grade), you will need to spend some time studying at home.
The materials are specially designed for self-study. Students have constant access to their professors and can ask them for advice or feedback on a completed task.

Main areas covered by the study program:
- Financial reporting and analysis based on IFRS compared to US GAAP
- Financial strategies, valuations, risk management, mergers and acquisitions
- Strategic planning, monitoring and controlling
All classes are conducted in English.

- “Class effect” so that everyone knows who the other participants are, the ability to communicate with the host and participants via chat;
- Screen sharing so participants can view and interact with the trainer’s screen in real time;
