IFRS Update
The course aims to provide an update on recent developments in IFRS.
We will start by examining IFRS 18: Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements, which will introduce new requirements for the financial statements, especially the income statement and statement of cash flows to apply from 2027.
We will then focus on some of the more recent pronouncements such as IFRS IC (Interpretations Committee) agenda decisions, which are issued on a regular basis by the IASB and other changes that have been introduced or are in the process of being discussed and will apply for preparers of financial statements.
Through case studies, we give practical guidance on and resolve difficult issues companies may face in preparing/analyzing financial statements under IFRS.
This training course is addressed to those responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements under IFRS. It is intended for people who already have a knowledge of international standards and need to update this knowledge, especially due to new or amended standards introduced in the last two years.
